Saving the universe is wreaking havoc with my dGeeking! But it sure is going to be one hell of a rocking good two-part start to the new season!

In my bid to be the best-est brother in the galaxy I've put Kate's Noble Parasites (there's a sister joke in there somewhere I'm sure) info up on the site. Do check it out if you can, I read an earlier draft of the play and it's some creepy fun! Look at that I'm plugging it again!

I've changed the "wrapper" at the bottom of the site to our Technorati.com listing. This is yet another sordid attempt at garnering even more Internet attention. But as always it's a fun website that I'm now addicted to! Check it out if you have a free lifetime, sign up and get your blogs listed and of course make adogsbreakfastmovie.com your "favorite".

So sorry that I've not had more time to share with you all. I've not had two minutes to rub together (what?!) now that Season Four is upon us. There's been much shaking and quaking on the Atlantis set and I'm looking forward to Bag Pipes and Scottish flags any minute now here at the Bridge Studios. All this in spite of the weather... The Scottish fans will probably think this a marvelous spring day, but I'm feeling like a ratty little drowned squirrel-nerd myself! Miss ya Pauly... even if you're lounging around in sunny L.A. while your biggest fans catch pneumonia outside and I spout techno-gargon (I mean comedy/scifi gold Mr. Mallozzi;-) Try saying "Nanites" and "Human Form Replicator" ten times really fast...actually don't, you'll put me out of a job!

Jewel and Jason now have me addicted to the "Breakfast Sandwich" and I can actually hear my arteries hardening. Oh to be young and calorie foolish once again! I've finally scored some wifi and I'm taking time between setups today trying to get you all back up to date.

Two screenings set for Sunday of "A Dog's Breakfast", as you all probably know, but I think that there should be a few tickets left at the door if you find yourself with nothing else to do and fancy a laugh. Bring your friends and family, hell bring your enemies and Mars can take care of them for you...after they've purchased their tickets that is ;-0

On the convention front, I'm afraid to announce that we've had to cancel our plans to attend the Armageddon Convention in New Zealand and Australia next year...I am so sorry to let people down, Jane and I were so looking forward to it. Let's just say that there's another project in the works that's going to take up a lot more time and energy than we'd bargained for. More happy news on that when I get a wee bit more time. In order to make up for it, we'll be looking into getting some "A Dog's Breakfast" screenings sorted out for you all down there.

See you for a quick Q&A at the convention on Saturday and/or at the screenings!

Peace & bagpipes (Never heard those two together, have you!),

D!

...at the con and the screening goes really well. Have heard some good things about the Save Carson gig, fingers crossed everyone involved had fun.

Okay - it must be the fact my brother and his family have just left after their flying vist, but the last time I heard words along the lines of, "Let's just say that there's another project in the works that's going to take up a lot more time and energy than we'd bargained for." was when he told me I was becoming an aunty.

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm gonna be way off base with that thought, but stil... :grin

Damn about NZ, I was planning on going, (even if it meant cutting down my study time :grin

I really hope you get a chance to get down here later. after the super secret project, of course :grin

Argh and I was so looking forward to meeting Mars, Yourself and Jane! Oh well, maybe at a later date. At least now I don't have to feel guilty about sneaking off in the middle of my swot vac time to see ya and your movie when i really should be studying.

But definately please reschedule!

I guess I am glad to hear (read?) that you are so busy...even if it means we don't get to see you very much here.

I hope all goes well with your lastest project.

Hey there David thanks for yhe update. I did try saying "Nanites" and "Human Form Replicator" ten times but then I bit my tongue and now it hurts. I think I sprained my tongue too. :cry
I am so looking forward to Season 4 I am itching to know what happens. What happens? :? Guess I have to wait.

So when you said Down There you meant Down East right? ;) ;)

Congrats on the Wifi. Looking forward to more news on S4. :)

Love Scary from beautiful Nova Scotia :grin :grin
WHAT AN UPDATE
Written by crazy4dh on 2007-03-23 08:18:20
We all figured that what with wedding planning, script learning, script writing, and screenings that you were probably running on caffeine and stimulants. Glad to see you found time to greet the Carsonites with Mars. I was like 'that's Mars!'. He is so cute, but then so is his owner.

Question is do you plan to be at the convention in Chicago in August? Bribery - Paul is going to be there....

Looking forward to 2nd half of Season 3 and all of Season 4.
Congratulations to both of you!

Kudos for finding some wifi around the set. You win for the day at dgeeking.

Wow. One bagpipe indoors is one bagpipe too many. Hope you guys had some hearing protection so you could enjoy it!

Thank you for the update; your writings are always such fun! You're so good for your fans, no need to appologize for not spending more time dgeeking; we know you're busy, and understand that when you do have some time for yourself, maybe you'd like to actually spend it for yourself!

Thanks for the updates, David.

And what is this "Oh to be young and calorie foolish once again!"

Goodness, i am old enough to be your grandmother. You are just a tadpole in my book. LOL.

Someone's been a busy boy!! And you probably are the best brother in the world (except mine of course!)

I think we all understand you're going to be tied up with SGA at the mo. so updates will be sparse si it's all good.

And careful with those sandwiches!! Doesn't matter what your age (as i'm finding out!) gotta watch your health!

Shame about Aus/NZ (not that i could have gone mind you) but these new project has got us all intrigued!!

Best of luck as always and squirrel type hugs
Sandwiches
Written by HyniB on 2007-03-23 05:43:48
I'm guessing the Breakfast Sandwich of which you speak is similar to the Death By Sandwich, popular on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales (were my geeklife began) - basically if you can fry it its in it - cholesterol on a plate - fantastic!
Hooray! We heard from you!
Written by rosiewook on 2007-03-23 05:31:02
You probably haven't had time to see our great philosophical discussion about how the number of blog entries will correlate to the technobabble you have for the week. (Sorry. Comedic gold.)

We all realize you're very, very busy. Just touch base when you can.

You should know, however, that we have nominated Jane to be a temporary blogger in your absence.

Can't wait to hear the big news. There were so many interesting things in the wings that I can't figure out which might have taken off for you.

Take care!

Even you can't stay away for too long!
we knew you'd be understandably working hard. I'll have to start bloging but I have a feeling that not many people would be interested in anything I have to say. :sigh
Anyway could the new project be the wedding?

LA is a black hole that sucks in actors from around the world.

For a man who is rather busy right now, you managed two posts - impressive! Thanks for the tease about the season opener, looking forward to seeing it next fall. Of course, I am counting the days until we get to see the second half of season 3. That date just can't get here soon enough. Good luck on Sunday. Hope you can get a few screenings for our squirrels down under.

I am glad things are going so well for you & Jane. :) I know you are a very busy man & to take the time to put up what's going on in your part of the world & pic's as well. Good luck in all your endeavours. :) We Aussies understand that you may have to cancel things now & then. Wish you all the best. HAPPINESS ALWAYS!

Your title reminds me of Hello Goodbye by The Beatles. I guess it reminds me of Hellogoodbye too...but I don't listen to them that much.

& it's not sunny down here in LA, it's actually quite chilly. Rained the other day. =P
Thanks for the update!
Written by watcher652 on 2007-03-22 20:41:05
What a long entry for someone with no time! Thanks for squeezing us in, it's so appreciated. You just want to play with the wifi, right? :)

I'm sorry you won't be able to NZ. Not that I would have been able to see you there (psst, come to Northeast US!), but from the reports I've read about your last time down that way, you really enjoyed yourself.

Hmm, wonder what that project is? What a tease you are! You really are good at this marketing stuff.
Early again!
Written by Aten on 2007-03-22 20:22:37
Wow. I do love having so much time to sp-...never mind... :p

Actually, I think I could say those ten times fast. I got a long letter a few weeks ago and had to read it in the car, and I was shocked at how quickly I could coherantly read it aloud. I did trip up three times or so, but I recovered pretty quickly. It's obvious that my jaw and tongue are the parts of my body that get the most exercise on a daily basis. ;)

Even if it's a bit of a downer, I'd still like to see that demonstration. Just for the sake of actually being there.

One question: If you haven't got two minutes free, how can this entry be so long? I suppose I'm a tad biased, though. For me, speed-reading good, speed-typing cruddy. 8)

Thanks for the updates David :) Wish I was in Vancouver for the con and the screening, but instead, I am just sitting here in lovely Rapid City, SD trying to make it to at least ONE con this year.

Take care and thanks again :D

It sounds like a marvellous spring day to me lol.

Yes Official British Summertime's great, especially when you're caught in a blizzard and your train's been cancelled!

Sorry you can't make it to NZ, but I'm intrigued about this new project :grin
