In my post Atlantis shooting weekend it took me a while to figure out where the store was on their website... thought I'd save you some trouble!
I know that there were some questions about parking... There is street parking in front of the theatre and a parking lot across the way. Failing that I think you'll find there's public parking all over the place. We've never had problems finding a spot... and I parallel park my Echo like I'm driving a eighteen wheeler.
I'm sorry that we have no later screenings, the theatre was already booked for the evening and we didn't have any other options that, we knew, worked well with the High Definition tape. I'm really sorry if some of you are already booked with convention related events. We really did try to find as best a middle ground screening schedule (with the two showings) that we could.. :-(

Crazy Amounts of Fun Written by everly_dawn on 2007-03-27 11:43:59 Went to the screening on Sunday...it was crazy amounts of fun. I haven't laughed that much in a sustained way for a movie in a long time. Afterwards my cheeks hurt because even when i wasn't laughing i was smiling at least. Kudo's to you all for your hard work. In my little world it' definately paid off already, but I hope the bigwig type people think as much of it as I do and that the film gets the hoopla it deserves. *hugs* |
Written by mrskorber on 2007-03-24 12:28:21 Well, I'll be there. If you see short-ish, round-ish with red hair and big teeth? That'll be me. Should be fun. MK |
Yes, I'm a Crazed Fan Written by margec01 on 2007-03-20 21:00:51 Okay, I've bought a ticket for each screening and am going to try to get to at least one showing. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the movie and the Q&A. Wheeee! |
Written by Chelle on 2007-03-18 22:00:41 As much as I'd absolutely LOVE to see ADB again, and since I had the wonderful opportunity to see it close to home...... I wish you much luck, and everyone have fun - the movie was SPECTACULAR! :D |
Written by mangoturkey on 2007-03-18 19:16:30 I can't believe it--I finally get to meet Mars (and you of course )I hope to make both screenings but that will really depend on the con schedual. Looking forward to the Q&A after Thanks for getting us a screening!!! |
Written by AylaMc on 2007-03-18 14:54:58 you're so good to your fans, I have no doubt that everyone understands. have fun at the screening, and hope shooting is going well. I still am not enjoying this "waiting for season 4 thing". :P |
Written by SeiyaTheLeaper on 2007-03-18 12:45:25 That's ok D, we know it's not your fault. Hopefully it will start at 10 am sharp, so 88 minutes of movie + Q&A should mean the people who've got the luncheon will be only 5-10 minutes late! God bless the Skytrain. See you there, D,J,J,M & fellow squirrels & fans!! |
Written by PB_Gal on 2007-03-18 05:59:28 You're still driving your echo around? It's so small and tiny! It should be easy parking :P Oh and on a side note, the character is the TV show Psych (who've managed to steal quite a few SGA/SG1 actors!) drives a blue Echo! Hmmm this really is off topic.. anyhoo... um... have fun at the screening? |
Have fun! Written by watcher652 on 2007-03-18 03:25:03 I'm glad you're giving your fans so many chances to watch your movie in actual theatres. And, just as important, non-Atlantis fans are being shown some Hewlett magic! Someday I hope to watch your movie on the big screen. |
Written by Zerocool on 2007-03-18 02:56:49 awww you lucky people! So what about more european screenings (hint hint) Hope all goes well x |
Written by RankNFiled on 2007-03-18 01:19:11 Got two tickets for the 1215 showing, but still waiting confirmation. Can't wait to see the movie. Thanks for all you've done for your fans, David. |
Happy Written by Mercury973 on 2007-03-17 22:47:38 I'm off to the 12:15 showing, since I didn't need to rush back to the con. Besides, maybe there will be longer for a Q & A afterwards? I am so happy to be able to see the movie. Thanks for booking the place. Looking forward to it. |
Written by Kate28 on 2007-03-17 20:23:18 You'll all have a terrific time there, lucky people! I hope Mars enjoys it too! |
Sadly ... Written by amararti on 2007-03-17 19:13:16 ... I had made up my mind to get to your next screening (if it was in the Northern hemisphere) but sad family circumstances have overtaken me and I can't make it ... ... I'm sure it will go down a storm and lots of Squirrels and their friends will be there to give it support ... ... Know just what you mean about parallel parking can't do that to save my life ... Peace, love and large parking spaces ... AMx |
Thanks! Written by Dew on 2007-03-17 18:52:06 But really I'm just glad to be finally able to see it. Now where IS that stupid passport o' mine?! It irks me no end that I now need a passport just to go up north for a couple of hours. Grrr! |
A week away! Written by lemonchicken on 2007-03-17 18:02:02 I have tickets to both screenings. Im bound to make one of them at least. (really hoping for both, but that all depends on the convention schedule) Thanks for putting this together. Both of you. Yes, see you very soon! |
Written by Muffin on 2007-03-17 17:02:46 We have booked our tickets for the 10am showing, we are determined to fit it in around convention events no matter what. Thanks so much for going to the trouble of organising it David and Jane! Flying out Wednesday woohoo! |
Written by Squonk on 2007-03-17 16:12:31 You've already done so much for the Squirrels, i'm sure you did all you could. Best of luck with it anyway - not that you'll need it. |

Written by Becky S. on 2007-03-17 14:49:05 You did the best you could do, David. I think everyone can understand that. Lots of wishes for great screenings. |
Written by Shawna on 2007-03-17 14:43:04 I ordered a ticket for the later showing (still awaiting confirmation). I hope there'll be time afterward for a non-rushed Q&A before whatever the next show is. I can't wait! I'm sure my family all think I'm nuts for being so excited about this and driving all the way up there, but I don't care. And I'm *so* wearing my Starcrossed shirt. |
