We're struggling our way towards London today, so look out motorists! Jane spent her sick day in bed organizing everything and running the numbers on the screenings. I was unconscious or whining for mine. Turns out we've got 20 more tickets available for the 4pm showing which WolfEvents.com is going to make available today.
This is the same deal as before - Tickets will again be available online only from WolfEvents.com for £10 plus a £1 booking fee.
Looking forward to seeing you there...even if Jane and I are a little green around the gills!

being sick sucks Written by whovian on 2007-02-08 18:11:44 I don't like being sick and I hope you're feeling better. My daughter has the flu today so I guess she feels your pain. Hopefully I won't catch anything. LYSOL to the rescue! Anyway, I can't say how excited I am to see ADB! I'm telling everyone I know about it and have made them all watch the trailer on Youtube. I think if you come out to Tampa you'd have NO TROUBLE filling any of the many theaters in this area. Plus, we don't have snow and the beaches are some of the best in the world...just the thing for a sick, overworked D-Geek... |
Eek! Written by Dew on 2007-02-05 18:49:08 Food poisoning? Lil worse than being just sick. Hope everyone's feeling better now. |
Drink lots of water Written by watcher652 on 2007-02-02 19:03:34 According to Kate, David has food poisoning. I'm so sorry to hear that. Please take it easy during the convention. |
Written by Scary on 2007-02-01 11:14:35 [B](((((HUGS DAVID & JANE)))))/B] Maybe there is something in the air in London. My boss just got back from her vacation there and was sick for almost a week when she got back. Hope you feel better soon. Good Luck with the screening. Hope to see you at an East Coast (canada/us) screening soon. |
Written by Debra1969 on 2007-02-01 07:03:08 ps. ticket only for those not already going. Otherwise I'll go twice and laugh harder. |
EVENING TICKET Written by Debra1969 on 2007-02-01 07:00:23 Does anyone need an evening ticket? I have one for afternoon now (due to friend not going) and was due to go to evening anyway. I know it's very short notice, but if you do stick a comment on this site by 2pm and will try and sort it out. Deb |
Written by myreasontosmile on 2007-02-01 04:22:52 Please, please come to Australia. No matter which state you come to, I'll definitely fly in! Hope the London screening goes well and you both get better soon. |
Written by geekjumper on 2007-01-31 12:58:33 >.< That always happens to me, too. Setting a date for an event pretty much guarantees that I'll be sick for it. Demand chicken soup and peppermint tea from room service! The latter settles stomachs brilliantly. Hope you're well enough to enjoy your trip! |
Written by impoverished_student on 2007-01-31 09:06:45 Oh no! Hope you both feel better soon! And if only the extra tickets had been for 6pm *cries* Oh well, looking forward to hearing all about it afterwards! Have fun! |
Written by San5000 on 2007-01-31 06:26:50 Sorry to hear you are both under the weather. Hope it's just a 24 hour bug and you'll both be feeling better soon....You know you shouldn't have eaten the airplane food. Looking forward to seeing you both on Thurs and at the weekend. Perhaps Wolf will lay on the hot toddy's for everyone |
Feel better! Written by AylaMc on 2007-01-30 21:53:14 That's wonderful that even more people will get to see the film! You may be a little green around the gills, but I'm definately a lot green around the... um... envy glands? Hm. (and I claim to be a Biology undergrad. Hah!) And using that as my segue (haha, I'm such a dork. Ever seen those segues? I want one. They look fun to ride), feel better! No one enjoys being sick. I reccomend Echinacea! I swear by the stuff! (haha, not only am I Biology student, but I come from a family of herbalists, lol.) Feel better, both of you, and good luck at the con and at the screening! |
Written by s_aurius on 2007-01-30 19:30:49 So sorry to hear you're both sick. I hope you both get well before Thursday and are able to enjoy your time in London. Have fun everyone who's getting to go!! PS: Come to Dragon*Con |
Nevermind Written by watcher652 on 2007-01-30 14:45:53 Sorry, guess it was just me. Disregard my comments about the site, it looks ok now. My computer must have had a hiccup. Hope you enjoy yourself this weekend, despite being sick. |
Passing you some chicken soup Written by watcher652 on 2007-01-30 14:39:42 How bizarre. I just happen to be eating chicken soup as I read this latest entry. I'm so sorry to hear that you and Jane are ill. And you having to appear at your screenings and the con instead of being in bed with the covers over you head. Try to take it easy and let the good feelings from your fans support you. BTW, the reply screen is really weird now, it's all plain text with no buttons. It looks like your style sheet has gone wonky. I don't know if it's just me, but I thought I'd mention it. |
Bleck! Written by mmcleary on 2007-01-30 14:20:48 It's always nicer to barf at home in your own toilet isn't it? Sorry that you and Jane have been struck down. That airplane air will get you everytime. Make sure to take AirBorne on your way back!Get well soon! Mary |
Written by Squonk on 2007-01-30 13:49:33 Ooo hope you both get better soon! (I'm currently with a battle of wills with my digestive system, so i can sympathise!) That's what happens when you leave a country with such clean air for an overcrowded, polluted and damp place like our fair old isle! lol
|
GET WELL SOON Written by Wabit on 2007-01-30 12:22:22 They do say laughter is the best medicine and we will have plenty for you at the screening and P2. ONE DAY TO GO Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hugs to you and Jane Wendy |
Written by zwild1 on 2007-01-30 12:14:33 Here's to a speedy recovery for both of you. It's not fun being in the spotlight and feeling Horrid! Best wishes with the showings. |
Written by Delka on 2007-01-30 11:39:11 Yes, get well soon. |
Written by Muffin on 2007-01-30 11:31:15 GET WELL SOON GUYS! I think we are all suffering a bit over in England atm... LOL Look forward to seeing everyone at the screening and the convention! |

IF I WERE THERE Written by crazy4dh on 2007-01-30 09:21:28 If I were there I'd come play chauffeur, gopher, nursemaid, etc. Hope you feel better soon. Chicken noodle soup really does help. Good luck on the screenings. Hope to hear plenty of good things from all the little chittering lucky-as-all-get-out squirrels. |
Written by MdGateFan on 2007-01-30 09:17:53 Glad to hear you made to London, sorry to hear you are sick. There is not much worse is there? Getting to a place where you have a list of things you want/need to do and end up spending at least part of that time in your hotel room just wishing you were home. (Can you tell that I have gotten sick while traveling a time or two) It's got to be the airplane air. That stuff will kill you. Or at the very least make you wish you were dead. I hope both of you are feeling better soon. |
Written by Shawna on 2007-01-30 09:13:24 Ohhhh...hope you guys feel better soon. It'd suck to have to do the screenings and all that sick. Glad to hear you made it there all right, though. |
to a speedy recuperation Written by Aten on 2007-01-30 09:12:43 Don't worry, I'm sick now too, therefore I sympathize. Though matters of time and money prevent me from travelling across land and sea to go to the screening (despite my having gone to the one in L.A.), I wish you guys the best, or rather, more of it. Send my regards to Mars and Lucy, too. |
Written by Debra1969 on 2007-01-30 09:09:41 Oooooh, nice one. I am going to the evening one... but could make the afternoon too. Would it be rude to go to both and maybe deprive someone who couldn't get a ticket originally? I'm managing to hold myself back for now.... but it's hard. |
Written by dgustavson on 2007-01-30 08:23:40 Feel better soon! Traveling while you're sick is no fun at all. Looking forward to the screening on Thursday night (albeit horribly jetlagged) and the convention at the weekend. |
Written by lemonchicken on 2007-01-30 08:20:46 Here's hoping its only one of those 24 hour colds. Get well soon. Best of luck at the screening, have a wonderful trip. |
GET WELL SOON Written by APMC4CB on 2007-01-30 07:51:51 Get well soon! If you are ill you are ill, stay in bed and get better! Everyone in my office is ill today .. i turned up and there was only me and 1 other person out of an office of 13 people. Must be something in the London air! |
Get Well Written by Siann on 2007-01-30 07:44:42 Here's hoping you get well soon (like, by Thursday....you don't want to get everyone in London sick or they may not let you come back ) Cheers! |
Aww you poor things Written by 11nine73 on 2007-01-30 07:32:17 Do apologise for London's poor air quality. Someone told me last night I was likely to end up sick because of the pollution. I told you to come to Manchester! :D Well, I'll be there on Friday... I'm started to get quite freaked about all this. Nervous-as-hell Helen x |
Tea, lots of tea! Written by crazymom on 2007-01-30 07:19:22 I hope you both are better soon--such a pain to be sick away from home! I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's stories about the screening and the con! |
Get well soon Written by ForkOfDoom on 2007-01-30 07:07:55 Hope you feel better soon David. Can't wait till Thursday! |
Get well soon! Written by sueKay on 2007-01-30 07:05:28 Aw! It must be a travelling thing or a London thing. I visited London for the first time in August (or September ) Got there at 7am feeling lousy, and by 10 had developed a full blown flu...all my friends spent most of the day stuck outside Euston station because I couldn't move lol! Hope you both feel better soon! |
Awwww Written by Jen on 2007-01-30 07:00:29 I know how you feel. I've been struck down with a nasty cold as well See you at 6 to swap remedies! |

Also sharing air with everyone on a plane.... Nip down to Boots get yourselves some lemsip Powercaps (the ones you can only buy over the counter) that'll see you right |
Written by Becky S. on 2007-01-30 06:44:16 Hope you are both better soon! Try to get some rest amongst all your activities. Hoping for great turnout for you. |
A real man? Written by taywolf on 2007-01-30 06:43:05 at last a man who will admit that he is a total wimp and pain in the gluteus maximus when he is ill. Hope you are both feeling better soon. Remember and send Mars and Lucy (if that is where is he staying) a postcard. Best wishes. |

Awww Written by Kate28 on 2007-01-30 06:18:20 The sickness lurgees always know the worst possible moment to strike down their victims don't they?! I hope the ADB launch is everything you could wish for and more - get well soon both of you! |
Pubs Written by MagicMeerkat on 2007-01-30 05:59:09 If you need a pint in which to drown your symptoms, try the Salisbury on St Martin's Lane.WC2. It's not far from Shaftsbury Avenue (it's next to the Noel Coward Theatre where Avenue Q is currently showing) and it's a top example of a proper Victorian pub. Beer's all right as well! |
Written by stillwaters on 2007-01-30 05:44:46 That's terrible luck! I hope you both recover enough to be able to attend/enjoy both screenings, as well as everything else London has to offer. If not, your health comes first. Your fans will understand (eventually) if you're forced to skip anything. Take care! |
Written by rosiewook on 2007-01-30 05:02:27 Oh, geez. Did you murder whoever exposed you on the plane? I hope it's of the short-lived variety so you can actually enjoy your trip. Feel better! And break a leg at the showing. |
Oh dear... Written by dutch eowyn on 2007-01-30 04:52:56 It's no fun being sick while in London! You should be roaming the streets, walking the parks and checking out the pubs and stuff. I hope you'll both recover quickly so you'll get to do some of that too. Good luck |
