A Dog’s Breakfast will be screened at 6:30pm on Thursday February 1st 2007 at the Odeon Covent Garden, 135 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8AH
The screening starts at 6:30pm sharp, so get there early (Doors open at 6pm)! We have to be cleared out by 8:30, so the sooner we’re all settled in the theatre, the more questions you can ask at the Q&A that follows the screaming… screening that is!
The evening will be attended by the lovely and talented Jane Loughman, John Lenic and two Hewletts: Kate and David. There are only 120 seats available, so make sure you book them and you book them fast!
Tickets are as reasonable as we could make them at £10 plus a £1 booking fee. Wolf Events will be handling the sales, so keep an eye on www.wolfevents.com to get them before they’re dog-gone!
D!,Jx & the mutt (who will again be vacationing with his girlfriend, instead of attending the screening like a good actor!)

Disappointed :-( Written by San5000 on 2007-01-17 13:52:34 I just learned the tickets were available form this time yesterday...and then learned they were sold out almost immediately :-( I only live an hour from London so I was so looking forward to seeing the film in the theater :-( I do hope you have another showing in London some time soon. |
Written by PB_Gal on 2007-01-16 16:12:58 Good going, but once again I didn't even know they were selling till htey were sold out (in 20 mins!!! that's quicker than the AFL grand final!!!) |
Holy crap you guys are FAST Written by J Leigh on 2007-01-16 15:32:45 Didn't really know when tickets were going on sale, but I checked a couple hours ago and they weren't on sale, checked just now, and they've been sold out for a while. Aw well. Congrats to those getting to go! Can't wait to hear the stories. |
I GOT MY TICKETS!!!!! Written by purple_dragon on 2007-01-16 15:22:13 WOOOO!!! I managed to get all of the tickets for me my family and friends to go and see it, but only after refreshing the page for the best part of an hour!!! Ack that was stressful - I was actually shaking at one point thinking that I hadn't been able to get them, definately not fun But then again, I know it's gonna be worth the blood sweat and almost tears purple_dragon |
The tickets are all gone now Written by borgteddy on 2007-01-16 15:12:48 According to Wolf they never had tickets sell this fast. |
OMG Written by Wabit on 2007-01-16 15:08:23 nullOMG I got a ticket. PLEASE David don't ever do that to us Squirrel's again. It was like taking my driving test all over again, I am still shaking now. SEE YOU ON THE 1ST FEB. I'LL BRING THE MALTEASERS. |
Have fun! Written by reona_cat on 2007-01-16 15:07:52 I hope everyone enjoys the movie and has a good screening in London with none of the L.A. problems! It’s fantastic that the actors actually come to these things and you get to meet them and harass them with questions and requests for autographs. David is so sweet for putting up with all of us... |

Performance testing is your friend, dear Written by Debra1969 on 2007-01-16 14:59:35 Hmmm...methinks they need to upgrade their Databases for more than a couple of concurrent users - *tut tut tut* (and I'm saying that as a technical systems architect who designs such systems) Perhaps DH would like to give them some pointers - 's'not like he's that busy eh |
Yeah I got a ticket Written by tez on 2007-01-16 14:58:48 I'm so happy i've finally got through , both me and my sister stuck refreshing for over half an hour but yeah now I just need to get off work early |

Written by APM on 2007-01-16 14:52:47 hurray!!!! i think i have a ticket..... although not totally sure .... got through the whole order process at least....crosses fingers |
Written by APM on 2007-01-16 14:45:05 i have paused with the refreshing... partly to give my clicking finger a rest, but also becasue i think that might keep screwing up the site whilst they try and get it back (or possibly not) |
Written by APM on 2007-01-16 14:43:24 i got as far as the shopping cart ... and putting my details in..... the site crashed at that point, i got back to the shopping cart page, tried to refreh it agin and now nothing loads. |
Written by borgteddy on 2007-01-16 14:41:05 Did anybody actually managed to get a ticket? Or are we all still refreshing? |
Written by APM on 2007-01-16 14:36:09 hmmm maybe e-bay might have been better....... it can handle more than 84 people accessing the site at once (84 was the count of people online at 7:59 beofre the site crashed) lol .... ah well I supose the answer is to release it on DVD quick so we can all get a copy |
The Doggie killed the Wolf Written by borgteddy on 2007-01-16 14:26:04 It's official. The tickets went on sale 25 minutes ago and right from the start there were so many people trying to get them that the Wolf Event site crashed. Hopefully someone will fix it soon. Untill then I will be hitting refresh over and over and over and over again.

Written by APM on 2007-01-16 14:20:51 is anyone else having problems buying tickets on wolfevents? I have got half way through and it looks like the web site has cashed? hmm... will try again |
*boohoo* Written by Major Alexa West on 2007-01-16 12:56:13 £10??? £10??? That's nothing!!!! I'd give my right arm to see A Dog's Breakfast!!!!! And yet I can't!!!! I'm stuck in Ireland!!! Well I'm happy for you London troopers but sad for me! Damn my not-living-in-England!! That'll all change when I go to Warwick next year! Anyway, hope everyone enjoys it, and I'm going to keep fighting to get a screening near me!!!! |
*sulks* Written by 11nine73 on 2007-01-16 10:00:41 I'll be rehashing Outlook Express as part of a course I have to do for my course. Don't drink too much David, those of us attending Pegasus 2 will want a full, in-depth but not rambling account of Thursday night. Or else. And we have a good "or else" now Kate's coming, don't we? Yes, I am threatening you with your younger sister. What of it? See ya soon! Helen x |
Written by Scary on 2007-01-16 08:38:17 I am torn between being happy and jealous that all you guys in London get to see this. Have a great time!!!! Maybe you all could put in a good word for us Canadians who haven't had the awesome opportunity to see ADB yet!!!! |
Written by rosiewook on 2007-01-16 07:31:40 Break a leg! Have fun! Take deep, cleansing breaths. I'm sure it will be received as well as the LA screening. Will be sending "living vicariously" vibes from Atlanta for you! All squirrels who attend had best give us detailed accounts of all the happenings. (Minus story spoilers, of course.) |
Written by sueKay on 2007-01-16 06:21:25 Yay! I'm gonna be there!!!!! |
Written by Fay on 2007-01-16 04:27:02 Curses! The clips online have reduced me to a cackling wreck and I feel this (entirely unmerited) sense of vicarious possessiveness & affection for the whole project. Go Team! I'd *love* to attend the screening, but sadly, despite being a Brit, I'm living & working in Bangkok. (Woe is me...sunshine, tropical beaches, cocktails, cheap DVDs...okay, not so much of the woe, actually.) However, I'll be pimping the movie to friends back in Blighty like nobody's business. (...meanwhile, in the event that you good folks fancy doing a screening in Thailand, my couch is at your disposal! Or, well, no, the vast array of swanky hotels is at your disposal, as I suspect the couch would be a trifle too humble - but I'll get the first round in at the bar!) ... ...that's a tumbleweed, isn't it? Rats. Oh well - have fun in London! |
Written by sammy on 2007-01-16 04:19:43 OMG! yay the screening. hopefully i will manage to grab a ticket before they sell out! wolf store is better than ebay though, but im still gonna be staring at my computer hours before!!! |
Written by SeiyaTheLeaper on 2007-01-16 02:08:59 Ok, now I REALLY have to camp in front of the Wolf store. But I must say, I'm happier with that than with eBay! |
Good luck and have fun! Written by dutch eowyn on 2007-01-16 01:18:52 Aw, I'll miss it by half a day, since I'm arriving the 2nd, but I'm glad you managed to arrange something on such short notice and halfway across the globe! Hopefully those who were already planning squirrely meetings around the screening will be able to get their paws on a ticket :D
|
Written by Shawna on 2007-01-16 00:51:00 Congrats! I hope it goes stupdendously. *still holding out for you guys to bring it back home, to the good ol' northwest* |

Written by mystisblom on 2007-01-16 00:34:40 Timing is everything *G* I'll be thinking of you while listening to my art history professor in boring Germany *sigh* |
Written by HelmutDarling on 2007-01-15 23:21:31 Thanks for keeping all of us who can only arrive Feb. 2 away. |
Written by s_aurius on 2007-01-15 22:46:10 Have fun everyone who's getting to attend! Take lots of pictures to share. Hopefully their will be a screening in the US Midwest soon. |
Written by Becky S. on 2007-01-15 22:32:38 Best wishes for a great time to all who can go. And best wishes for another sucessful screening for everyone who worked so hard to make the film! |
Wee! Written by windshieldbug on 2007-01-15 22:27:32 I'm totally going to miss this by days. DAYS! I'll be coming into the UK on the 4th! Bugger....well not you. It's just....DAYS! Still hoping the squirrels can get you to bring it "down south" to us rebel squirrels. |
Written by casey on 2007-01-15 22:15:01 Good news. Not sure if I'm able to attend but are you able to tell us if it's nearer Picadilly circus or Leceister Square station? I'll be on the tube if I am able to make it, though I gather it's peak time! |
Have fun! Written by lemonchicken on 2007-01-15 21:44:16 To all the lucky squirrels who get to go - have a wonderful time and be sure to bring back loads of stories. ADB on the rise to global domination! Good news for the screening, but ... but DH! What about Starcrossed!!!? Alright, I'll go sit quietly on a branch like a good little squirrel and *patiently* wait. *taps paws* |
Written by ZoniDuck on 2007-01-15 21:40:31 That's wonderful news! I do wish I could be there, but I look forward to reading the reports from those who are lucky enough to attend. And now I'm off to watch your MGM interview, D. |
Oh noes! Written by dotwaffle on 2007-01-15 21:30:49 Oh noes! I have my final University exam (Advanced Computer Architectures, don't ask...) on the 2nd at 0900, so I can't make it! How I wanted to watch this! Good luck with it, D, and have some good fun! |
Written by zwild1 on 2007-01-15 21:00:52 This is great news indeed! Being in the middle U.S. and having to work is my sad predicament for not being able to attend the screening. Best wishes!!! |
Written by Aurora on 2007-01-15 20:59:11 Well I can't make it. Its a bit far for me, but I am sure it will be as great as the first. Which I also couldn't attend..lol. I look forward to hearing the stories from all the lucky ones that manage to go. |
Break legs... or perhaps eggs are more f Written by AylaMc on 2007-01-15 20:45:26 I have no doubt the evening will be fantastic. Wish I could be there, but I'm on the wrong side of the pond [come to the maritimes!*cough*Halifax*cough*] Best wishes! |
