Great McKay-like brains (as in NOT ME!) solved the issue and are getting back to me as to why it happened in the first place. Thanks for all your concern and emails!

So, to be clear, I did not get drunk on mulled wine and start decorating the house with the web server’s fiber optics... I did, however, eat all of Jane's mince-pies and she's not very happy with me. I blamed the dog.. then rats (I felt they were more believable than squirrels).. and then Santa. I think I got away with it. They are really magically good pies, very small, very easy to eat and very unprotected. Jane is out shopping right now!
