If you are in the New York hood then you're going to want to get yourself to this:

Human's Anonymous

December 6th & 7th
Theatre 54
8pm 12th Floor
244 West 54th Street

Kate Hewlett wrote the play and will be starring in it... MORE importantly, there is beer...Canadian beer!

Cheers,

D!

Your sister Kate is amazing. I had the chance to go to the reading last night and WOW. The play/reading was fantastic and I agree wholeheartedly with her: you MUST play the part of Peter when she gets the screenplay written. Maybe that can be one of your next little side projects. ;)

Now we just need ADB to screen in NYC. (hint, hint)

Something I can actually go see! Will definitely go to see it, probably on the 5th.

Thanks so much for plugging it! Is this her Off-Broadway debut?

Many wishes for Kate's success in New York! Wish I could go, but not in the budget right now.
I thought it was just a read-through

Now I'm ESPECIALLY sorry that I can't be in NYC.

You Hewlett folk have got cool stuff goin' on on each coast! You have essentially converted an entire CONTINENT to Hewlettarianism. Will you stop at nothing? Will you not rest until you have reached world domination?
Eep

Thanks for letting us know what time to be there. The Bridge Theatre website doesn't have the time, only the date. A call to the phone number listed made me go through a zillion menus before I got a real human, who only knew the theatre was rented starting at 6pm.

So Kate wrote about the screening first on her blog, and you tell us when to go to her reading on yours. I find that funny, yet cool.

It figures. I am in NYC for the weekend, but will be leaving on Monday... otherwise it sounds like a lot of fun.

Best of luck to Kate.
AGREED

I left a note a couple days ago on Kate's blog that I wished I could watch. No such luck!

I agree with the two gals above me that you need to bring "the Hewlett's" to the midwest/southern part of the country!
hey the east coast!

Ugh! Unfortunately I just don't have the spare cash to get up there on such short notice. S_aurius is right you need to come just a bit further south.

But at least you made it to the East Coast! Well a Hewlett did anyway! Hope all goes well and that you don't get snowed in anywheres during transit!

:sigh We so need more Hewlett stuff to come to the middle part of the U.S. :p
