Short week on Atlantis for me, just Thursday and Friday of McKay, though they packed in three episodes...we finished off Trio, Outcast and started our big season finale Last man. Atlantis is back on the air as of Friday night at 10pm. We're all keeping our fingers crossed that the audience numbers make SciFi happy enough to bring us back for season five. Make sure you're watching...I'll find out if you haven't...in fact report your friends if they're not watching and I'll sic the dog on them! ;-)
Next week is looking brutal with 4 hours of prosthetics every day...not to mention all that marvelous McKay dialogue!
Keep that glorious A Dog's Breakfast feedback coming! We've been getting countless emails from happy DVD owners and I can't tell you how much it makes my day! We put so much into getting this movie made and out there and I am so thrilled to hear from real live people that they think that it was worth the effort (and the price of the DVD). Please keep spreading the word!
Once we get this Season of Atlantis in the can and convince Hewlett 2.0 to shed Mummy and become a slightly more active member of society I'm looking to get the "A Dog's Breakfast" simulcast (now that you DVD'ers can join the fun) back on the schedule. Hope that works for your calendars!
P.S. Just looking at the forums and cracking up about you savvy squirrels weighing in on "Team Stargate" and curious about getting "A Dog's Breakfast" and "Atlantis" on this HeyNeilson thing...which I can't seem to access...too many tree dwelling rodents perchance?

Lol, YorkshireLizzie - us posties have been on strike for 4 days, not a week :P. It's basically just been a long, mail-free, weekend. However - some good news for ya! It looks like it shouldn't be too long for us to pick up the backlog - less than a week - and packages WILL get more priority over junk mail so don't worry...too much.

I am soo jealous! I am still waiting for my copy of ADB to come through! (sob!). I have seen the clip a million times and am basically chomping at the bit to get my hands on it! Its on back order and has now been shipped but our british posties have been on strike for a week already which is not helping at all!
There are 9 of us all waiting and we are planning a get together at mine to watch as soon as it arrives. (I can almost taste the champagne now! - us girlies know how to welcome pure genius into the world!)

Well my adb finally arrived!! yay!!!
managed to get my entire house watching it as they cracked up laughing when i showed them the few clips up on this site!
and im totally loving the dvd extras!! so glad you went with the short wig for paul! the long hair just made him look very strange and scary!!!

Finally signed up for Netflix and moved the film to the top of the queue as soon as I realized it was available. I absolutely loved it - and I loved the commentary and all the extras as well. It was really brilliant and hilarious, and it was a great way to relax after a long day of teaching the kiddos.

My second copy of ADB has shipped, finally. Deep Discount DVD ran out after the release.
This copy is going to make trip to Buffalo, NY for a friend and I'm in the process of hunting down more copies to start passing out to friends and family.

I love the interview in TV guide it was very informative. 
ADB passed. My brother loved it and pointed out a couple of things I missed. Also, I got a couple of my best friends to watch it who truly enjoyed it and plan on buying their own copy now.

I have tried to persuade my friends to watch Stargate. Even the Physics students amongst my aquintences won't watch it. I'm in a 'Lantis Bubble all by myself.
The weather is grotty and nasty in England too. You are not alone :P
Have seen Adrift, thanks to a friend who's in the States and sent it to me. Hooray! My brother rang me as soon as we'd watched it going 'OHMYGOD WOW!' Im really looking forward to the rest of the season, but I shall watch the episode on Sky One anyway so the ratings can have my vote I wouldn't want to see Atlantis go.

I love ADB watched it many times. Someday I'll be able to watch Season 4 whenever goofy Space Channel decides to start run it. Looks like it is Downloading time.
Wish I could see Season 4. The joys of living in Canada. Well there are Season 1,2,3 to occupy my time. I still have that to satisfy my cravings.
Hey dGeek may I borrow Mars? I want to sic him on Canada's Space Channel. They will not tell me when they are going to start airing Season 4. They told me they start airing Season 3 in January. They are still airing Season 1 and 2. I love these Seasons but everyone who is a fan already has Seasons 1,2,3.
So can I borrow Mars? Actually can you give Mars the command to sic em? We Canadians Fans who knows when we get to see Season 4. Probably 2009.
Well there is always Downloading the Episodes. We resort to this because of that darn Space Channel and since we have this channel the CRTC will not allow Space Channel into our country. The rats

I've seen ADB countless times already and crack up every time! My friend drove from Indiana to my house in Kentucky to watch it with me and then made a standing date (she doesn't have cable - HORROR!) every Friday night to watch You...I mean Atlantis.
Good luck on V 2.0 - Some very good advice was given on the forum if you can convince Jane to take it. Does v20 get the stubborn streak from mom or dad?

I watched the ep live at my parents' place Friday night, taking advantage of their HI LCD TV in the living room of the condo...... :D
Good ep! I was screaming at the TV going, "NO WAY!" in parts. (Plus, I was trying to do laundry & had to run out of the room to deal w/ that on commercial breaks.  )
Can't wait to see next week!
I really hope that Sproglet waits until you're out of the make-up before they decide to make their appearance, not during the process of putting it on or just when you finish! Let's hope that Murphy & the Sproglet don't have that much of an evil sense of timing........ :D
As for inducing Sproglet on "shedding" - well, there's always what created Sproglet in the first place. :lol: Other than that, walking, working the area between the thumb & index finger, the Achilles tendon region on the back of the ankle, and the feet, I don't remember what the reflexology zones are - sorry! And, even then, sometimes those don't work when you've got a stubborn baby.

My DVD just arrrived on Friday. I had already seen it at the london screening, but couldn't wait to watch it again. So i watched the special features, and then the movie and then the movie again with audio comenterry! I LOVE IT!
My flat mate is going to watch it tonight and i will see what he thinks..... Its a bit of a test as he has never watched stargate and is a bit anti-geek. He also works in fim so tends to be a bit over critical...... but we will see! |

It arrived yesterday and I wasless than happy to find it wouldn't play on my multiregional machine despite owning and happily playing SGA; Eureka and lots of other region 1s. All the damned machine said was 'Not formatted...etc, etc. Prissy voiced too.

And these were all mundanes who don't even know what SGA is; although they're now curious. I think that's pretty fantastic!
And poor Jane. I can't imagine how miserable she must feel, right now. I would be suspicious of Joe M. He might have put a whammy on her in order for your schedule to stay in place.

Enjoyed "Adrift" on Friday night. Very, very good episode. My boyfriend has a slightly less happpy view of it since Torri/Weir is his favorite on the show. He's made his prediction as to what will happen in the next show and we'll see if he's right. Actually, since because of the time it's on and the time I have to be at work every other week - he'll see the whole thing and I'll only see just over half of it until I can get it on iTunes. But from me: "Very well done" to everyone in front of and behind the camera.
Four hours of prosthetics...How much of that is removal time? I hope they will get the application speed up a bit for you. They usually do once they get to doing it a few times. Good luck with it all.
Hewlett 2.0 My understanding is that babies decide when they will become members of society. But I hope that it is soon so you and Jane can have the wait over with and begin the enjoyment of watching him/her change everyday and seeing the world though the eyes of a child. |

Adrift was fantastic, and I promise to watch it on TV as soon as I can (though, I doubt I'll do much good where I am) and be very loud if SF do something we don't like (or don't do something we like, as the case may be).
As others have said, you and Joe were brilliant on it, the interaction between the two characters and the massive tension in several parts. One of the best bits in the episode (and not just because Rodney used John's first name, though it's about time and well used, me thinks). And David (Nykl) was pretty darn good - hell you all were (the number of people raving about Jason).
So, congrats to all of you from, well, anyone who's seen it really. If this is any indication of what the rest of the series is like, it might even beat S3 as the best one ever (which I wasn't so sure was possible).
And good luck with Hewlett 2.0 and convincing him to leave the safe and warm enviroment of mummy |

Oh, and if you think of it, and you happen to see Joe, please let him know that he really killed in the scene where Keller tells Sheppard Weir's prognosis.

My friends and I watched ADB before Atlantis last night. I loved hearing my friends laugh! I’ve seen it multiple times myself but it was great to see it on a larger, brighter screen than I own.
BTW, I shamelessly turn the ADB dvds face forward when I find them at the store. At one place, the price label covered your face. Ack! Couldn’t do anything about that.
“Adrift” was a great episode! The jumper scene was fantastic! After all the years on Atlantis, it looks like McKay can fly in a straight line. And the Sheppard and McKay scenes were wonderful.
Word must be getting around for Hey Nielsen. I had no trouble getting to the site Thursday and Friday but I can’t access the site now. Their servers must be overwhelmed.

Watched Adrift twice last night, what a great premiere! Great job, i especially loved the character moments you had with Joe, some of my favorite scenes between you two. And thank TPTB we finally got a 'John' out of our Rodney, long time coming!
