Thanks so much to everyone at the festival especially Samantha who were instrumental in getting our puppy out there and being so enthusiastic and supportive of the film. As well a big thanks should go out to Mr. Don Loughman (Jane's Dad!) who was kind enough to attend the screenings, schmooze with our fine audiences and accept our awards. Jane and I were unfortunately tied up with filming and editing and were thus unable to attend (Booo! Still, someone has to save the universe!). Stratford sounded like such a great festival and I really wish we could have been there to take part. Thanks so much to all of you who did make the screenings for making it such an award winningly good time!

On winning Best Feature and Best Actor! Of course, none of us are particularly surprised by this, but we are all very pleased for you, Jane, and everyone who worked so hard on this project! I knew it would do well when I saw where it was on the program (one expects these things to end on a high note!). Jane's Dad looks like he was having a grand time (and you can see he's proud of his daughter and future son-in-law, and their accomplishment!). Congratulations on winning the awards at the SUA Film Fest. I went with my mate Wendy to the Thursday showing of the film and we met up with some cool squirrels whilst there. Samantha was a really nice lady who made us all feel welcome, and we had a nice chat with her before the showing.
And it was brilliant to meet Mr Loughman again, to say Wendy and I were shocked that he remembered us from Pegasus 2 is a slight understatement.
Anyway, I really enjoyed seeing the film for the third time and am now waiting for the DVD release in the autumn - the flyers Amararti produced went like fire at the London MCM Expo last weekend. |
