G4 me and the mutt In a bid to create some fabulous new content for you fine wired folks, I thought it might be a good idea to get a FAQ going. If you are interested, hop onto the FAQ forum and let me know what sort of information you'd be looking for. I'm looking for questions about... well me, as well as any past present and future work...that sort of thing. Sound good? Once we've complied a few questions I'll get working on some interesting, useful or mindless answers. So long, and thanks for all the FAQ! D! Write Comment (14 Comments) |

Collared Collared Mutt The pressures of fame? The high stakes of an upcoming movie debut? Or a mutt on the edge?
Any way you look at it, this week saw an embarrassing display of off-set antics by movie mutt Mars, the star of the upcoming film "A Dog's Breakfast". Reality bit the wayward canine in the form of hard time in the "cone of shame". It seems that the vacationing pooch was over zealous with his scratching of an insect bite after spending a wild weekend in Canada’s B.C. interior. "He feels like an idiot" says producer Jane Loughman of her forlorn pet, "And he looks like one too", says Hewlett, the writer/director/star of the film that is making Mars the toast of the canine social scene. Still, this puppy is going to have to clean up his act if he’s going to weather his whippet fast rise from death-row pound rescue, to Hollywood stardom.
Mars’ reps claim that the dog is “simply exhausted” and is now recovering at home with close friends and family.Write Comment (17 Comments) |

"Breakfast" for 20,000 viewers cooks up tasty buzz for indie film! Thumbs up from Writer/Director David Hewlett The sneak peak scene from "A Dog's Breakfast" has received a staggering 20,000 viewings since it was posted on YouTube.com earlier this week.
As a result of this ongoing YouTube.com "feast", numerous distributors from around the world have begun contacting producer

about putting "Breakfast" on their menus. "We're not making any decisions just yet, but David, John Lenic & I are excited to look at every option available to us before we decide how to proceed." says Loughman, "We are eager to pursue a theatrical release as we want to make sure that everyone -- especially all those loyal Stargate and Atlantis fans -- get to see the film in its finest form -- and in an environment that will allow them to meet the filmmaker, the cast, and maybe even Mars!".
In the mean-time, Kibble Productions are working on plans to make more clips and a trailer available online, plus maybe even a director's video blog (if we can get David to sit still for a minute)!Write Comment (16 Comments) |
