Hello All!
I've had to pull the comments module for the time being...I'm worried about the same security issue affecting that like the forum.
I'm having the website upgraded as we speak...and I'm also hoping to have some kind of a fix for the forum in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
gotta love the lads and ladies of Siteground.com they are really on the ball with this stuff! Love their support...well done, good job!

I know that there are a number of boards up and running to stand-in for dGeek.com but it might be fun to have the chatter happen on the A Dog's Breakfast IMDB.COM message board for the time being, as it may do wonders for its moviemeter ranking and get it a little more attention. |

Sorry all!
I've had to pull the forums until we work out these security issues. I'll need to do some research and see if there's something available that will make it possible and safe to have up and running for you. I just can't risk having the site tampered with again as it is time consuming and costly to restore and reinstall. I hate having to suspend the chatter, but I really don't have a choice while this exploit is exploitable!

Hello again!
Just wanted to warn you that today we'll probably get migrated to the latest version of Joomla (one that won't be such an easy target I'm hoping). I'm just not sure which of my lovingly added add-ons are going to function with the new script and what's going to implode after all this so... thanks for your continued patience. We have over 3500 members now and all the comments and forum postings that go with that so, fingers crossed and prepare for a bumpy ride!
